Woollard & Henry has been manufacturing quality bespoke Engineering products for a worldwide
client base since 1873. High demand for our world renowned watermarking equipment has created an
opportunity for a Trainee Technician at our Dyce headquarters.
Working alongside our highly skilled team of tradesmen you will work towards acquiring the
skills necessary to manufacture, amend or repair our world renowned, market leading
products within Paper Technology. As a Trainee, you will receive training in a diverse range
of duties, these will include:
o Operation of basic and specialist workshop machinery.
o Highly intricate soldering and brazing processes.
o CNC Engraving.
o Roll grinding.
o And other key skills associated with the manufacture of Watermarking products.
Candidates will have achieved a good general level of academic achievement. Experience is not
necessary as full training will be given; however the ideal candidate will possess the following
o Self-motivated with a good focussed work ethic and attention to detail.
o Be conscientious with a desire to learn.
o Excellent vision and dexterity.
o Comfortable working on own or as part of a team.
o An aptitude for technical/mechanical systems would be advantageous.
o Competent in the use of basic hand tools and machinery would be beneficial.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Flexibility will be required to cover particularly busy periods. (Overtime)
This is a permanent full-time position. The successful applicant will be joining the Engineering

Normal hours of work Mon-Thu 8:00 – 16:30 & 08:00 – 16:00 Friday. (Overtime may be required)
Remuneration will be £/hr negotiable subject to experience.
