Woollard and Henry are one of the last remaining independent Dandy Roll markers left in the world servicing the global paper industry. Back in 1873 Ernest Woollard started a business in Aberdeen to maintain and build Dandy Rolls. In the 1930's, Dick Henry, invested in 50% of the company forming Woollard & Henry.
The company grew through the 1950's and 60's and began exporting to Europe, Scandinavia and India.
This family run business continued. The Woollard connection ended when Ernest's grand-daughter left in the 1980's then, due to ill health, the last Henry retired from the company putting the business up for sale in 2002.
With the assistance of the Baxi Partnership the employees bought the company and now every one of us is a shareholder in our business. We remain independant and plan to stay that way.
